If you are like me and love Broccoli Rabe than this appetizer is for you. This is my go to appetizer for Valentine’s Day because my husband and I both love it. I make it special for us to enjoy. However, you can make this for any occasion and/or holiday. The Broccoli Rable is flavorful and I add salt, pepper and lots of garlic. Top it with Mozzarella Cheese on top of crusty baked bread and its unbelievable. Try this recipe and you won’t be disappointed.

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh broccoli rabe
4 slices of Italian bread
4 slices of smoked mozzarella
2 garlic cloves
salt and pepper
olive oil

Instructions

Step 1

Toast the Italian bread on the grill or in the oven.
Step 2

Saute` the broccoli rabe with olive oil and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3

Top toasted Italian bread with broccoli rabe and add one slice of mozzarella over the top. Put the bruschetta in the oven until the mozzarella melts. Serve immediately.
