Caprese Holiday Wreath

My family and friends are huge fans of the classic caprese salad, and this is such a fun way to serve it up for Christmas.  You can also do in the shape of a candy cane using large slices of tomatoes and mozzarella or this one in the shape of a holiday wreath. A basic caprese salad is just fresh mozzarella cheese, ripe tomatoes and fresh basil leaves with a little balsamic glaze and olive oil. If you are heading to a party, this appetizer is so easy and so beautiful!
